About me

I am professionally qualified counsellor with many years experience of working in a number of front line mental health settings and I am able to provide a range of therapeutic interventions, specialising in the causes and treatment of anxiety conditions and depression. Conditions such as chronic depression, generalised anxiety, OCD, phobias and stress related problems. I also work with individuals whose mental heath problems are a result of physical pain.

Too often do we self discriminate and believe that we suffer the awfulness of mental health illness alone, you don't have too. Together we will find the a path to wellness and together we will develop your own self belief and self compassion which will enable you to live the life you want.

You have no reason to wait. Depression and anxiety causes us to hesitate and avoid opportunities to be well, this is their aim yet they are not who you are. You and they are separate. Allow yourself to break the shackles of these conditions and begin our journey together.

Chronic or acute pain disorders such as migraine and headaches, lethargy and aching limbs, some common skin conditions and a weakened immune system causing constant poor health are related to conditions such as OCD, anxiety and depression. Suffering the combination of chronic pain and chronic mental health problems is very debilitating and affect our ability to work, socialise, sleep or maintain relationships.

Improving your mental well-being can have a dramatic effect on chronic pain and your relationship to it. I have worked with a number of people with these problems and would encourage you to contact me if you are affected by these problems and are struggling to cope.

I've also completed training with St.Barnabas Hospice who provide palliative care and services to help with grief and bereavement.

Any contact will be answered within 48 hours, usually within 24 hours. Please do not hesitate to contactt me whenever you feel a need to do so. If I am unable to answer your call email or send a text. I will always respond.

I offer a free 30 minute consultation and appointments within 7 days of contact. I am able to book you a counselling appointment immediately after your consultation. This gives the option of beginning your counselling from your first visit.

For the majority of people I see a maximum of 6 sessions are required. Change can often occur after a singular session.

I also offer a reduced hourly rate for students or individuals on personal development training or if this is a requirement for your course. Please see fees section for details.

With over 15 years experience of working with all forms of mental health problems, working with people who may believe that there is no way forward and have lost hope. I have worked with many professionals from a number of different backgrounds during this time and you are welcome to view my professional endorsements on my LinkedIn profile, a link to my profile is provided in the further information box at the bottom of this page.

Whatever problems you have, whether you consider them mild, moderate or severe and chronic now is the time to seek help and guidance and I would be privileged to take this next journey together with you.

My commitment is simple, I will offer you all I have in therapeutic terms.
